Main Sponsors or "Anchor Sponsors"
 |
I am looking for a few large corporate sponsors to commit
a substantial sum to my challenge (£15,000). All of the sponsorship proceeds will go to the
Breakthrough Generations Appeal, as I am meeting every
expense of the challenge myself. In return I can offer you:
“Anchor Sponsor” status.
Your name
displayed at the departure and arrival ports.
Your logo
displayed on the Challenge website.
Your name
announced and logo displayed at the post-challenge
fundraising event.
Dinner tables at
the above event, featuring your promotional material.
Appropriate
recognition in our press campaign.
None of your
competitors invited to be a sponsor.
Please get in touch with me personally by
email.
Thank
you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
A big thank you
to the seven companies who have already pledged their support
as Anchor Sponsors; Morgan Stanley, British Airways,
Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Standard Chartered, KPMG,
Reuters and The CT Trust.

Raising a significant sum of money in these days of
understandable fundraising fatigue is also a challenge. But
I invite you to join me on the crucial voyage to help
Breakthrough eradicate breast cancer by supporting this
challenge in whatever way you can.
Please take some time to consider how much you can give
and pledge a donation towards our £250,000 target. Donating
is easy, and if you are a UK taxpayer, your donation will
attract Gift Aid. For every £10 you donate, Breakthrough will
receive £12. I am personally meeting all the costs of this
challenge, so all donations and sponsorship funding will go
to Breakthrough. Just click on the "Donate Now" button and
you will be taken to a secure webpage hosted by JustGiving.com from where you can make your donation via
credit card.
Your contribution will enable Breakthrough to take
a giant leap towards a future free from the fear of breast
cancer. With your support, we really can “make waves” and
contribute to the “breakthrough”.
Thank you so much.
